I’m in love with these colorful homemade flower garlands from zakka life, recycled out of old catalogs. What a perfectly wonderful way to give new life to your junk mail! I bet they’d make eye catching decor at a party, indoors or out. See this simple tutorial for how to make them, and get your kids in on it too!

Oh my gosh- I LOVE these!!! I seriously have stacks of magazines that I always feel guilty throwing in the recycle bin...now I can start using those pages! Great post :)

FABulous idea for my 5 year old. She would love to do this and it would be so colorful with all the PBK and Land of Nod magazines was have in our house. Love it!

I'm loving this idea for a summer craft project with my tween and her friends! Thanks so much!
Those are adorable. I am trying to be a little more crafty this summer, and I can definitely see myself trying this!
This is a great way to recycle the catalogs, of which we all probably get too many! :)
Love this! Love your blog! (I just found you this morning, and so happy I did!)
I just set a box of magazines by the door last night, better go and snag 'em back. :)
