birthday girl is back!

Hello friends and readers! I'm back on the blog... well sort of. I'm actually still on maternity leave and taking care of my daughter Caitlin full time for the next few months, but I will be posting again as of this week. (By the way, I have a tremendous new respect for all you mamas out there... I'm amazed by what a totally exhausting and all consuming a job this is- I still can't quite figure out where the time goes each day!)

So the guest posts are about wrapped up and I hope everyone enjoyed reading them as much as I did. I have to give another shout out to my blog buddies for helping me out and sharing such amazing and creative ideas. Thank you THANK YOU!!! You truly went above and beyond.

While on leave I've received an outpouring of party submissions, and though I won't have time to post as often, I will be back to featuring real parties, inspiration boards and birthday related topics whenever I see something truly special. So don't hesitate to keep those submissions coming... I love sharing your original ideas.

Additionally, I've received a number of requests for custom inspiration boards that I had to turn down due to time constraints, but I'm happy to report that I'm now officially up and running again! If you have a birthday party, baby shower etc coming up and need help bringing your theme to life, just shoot me an e-mail with the details.
